Women's Bowling Competes at Inaugural Conference Championships

GASTONIA, North Carolina - The Walsh Cavaliers women's bowling team took part in the 2022 Conference Carolinas/Great Midwest Bowling Championships on Friday (March 25) at Liberty Lanes in Gastonia, North Carolina. 

The Cavaliers entered the weekend as the #4 seed of the six schools competing between the Conference Carolinas and Great Midwest Athletic Conference. Walsh dropped the opening match to the #3 seed Emmanuel 4-2 before bowing out in a 4-1 loss to the top seeded Lincoln Memorial. Each match was a best of seven series of Baker games.

Walsh averaged 168.2 pins in the first match of Bakers before averaging 165.6 per game in the second match. The best Baker game of the day was 199.
