Walsh Sweeps Tiffin To Secure Playoff Bid

(NORTH CANTON, Ohio) - The Cavaliers had four score in double-figures to defeat the Dragons Saturday afternoon on the road 75-70. Walsh moves to 14-12 overall on the season and 10-9 in conference play.

Junior Alex Hochstedler led the way for Walsh with 16 points. Brooklyn Wooten added 15 points and dished out a team-high four assists.  Brittni Clopton had 13 points on the night and Jalynn Graham had 10 while leading the team with six rebounds each. 

Walsh was down seven with just over five minutes to play in the third quarter before going on a 30-14 run to put the Cavs up nine in the fourth quarter. The Cavs finished strong to beat the Dragons by five to clinch a spot in in the GLIAC Tournament.

Walsh will play on Thursday evening at 5:30 against Findlay and celebrate senior night.
