Cavs Look To Knock Off Eagles From Ranks Of Unbeatens

Walsh welcomes No. 3 Ashland for its second game of the week after a 60-49 victory over Malone on Monday. The Cavaliers enter with w record of 13-7 overall and 10-5 in the conference.  The Eagles are unbeaten at 21-0 overall and 15-0 in the GLIAC.

This is the 20th meeting all-time between the two teams and is a rematch of one of last year's GLIAC semifinal games. The Eagles took that game and the season series by a score of 80-64. They also defeated the Cavaliers earlier this season in Ashland to lead the all-time series 13-6.

The Cavaliers are in third place in the South Division heading into tonight's game. They hold a two-game advantage over Findlay for the last guaranteed bid for the playoffs and are just a game out of being tied with Ohio Dominican for second place. In the entire conference, Walsh is just a game out second place.

Kelsey Funderburgh leads the Cavaliers' offense with 14.0 points per game. Alex Hochstedler is second on the team with 10.3 points per outing. Brittni Clopton leads the team in on the glass with 7.7 rebounds per game. Andi Daugherty leads the Eagles with 16.0 points per game.
