FAIRLAWN, Ohio - The Walsh Cavaliers men's bowling team christened the inaugural Cavalier Classic with a couple of victories on Saturday (Feb. 19) at AMF Riviera Lanes.
Walsh paced the field of six teams with a total pinfall of 7,161 pins over four individual games and 15 Baker games. The Cavaliers had three players on the All-Tournament team.
Chase Barstow won Tournament MVP honors along with All-Tournament honors as he finished first overall with a 220.3 average and 881 total pins. He tallied a pair of 226 games to lead the Cavaliers.
Caden Mutchler finished second with a 210 average, tallying 840 pins total and a best game of 226.
Jordan Norris was tied for fifth place, knocking down 808 pins in his four games. His best game was a 235 in the second game of the day.
Ryan Hanzak ended the day in 16th place, averaging 190.5 pins - totaling 762 pins.
Joshua Parry had the tournament's highest game at 267 as he totaled 646 in three games, finishing in 24th place.
Robert Komlosi opened the tournament with a 167 game.
After totaling 4,104 pins in the team games, Walsh knocked down 3,057 pins in the 15 Baker games. The Cavaliers averaged 203.8 pins per game and bowled five games of 220 or higher.
Walsh will look to qualify for the ITC Sectionals in March.
