Both Cross Country Teams Remain In Top 25

(NEW ORLEANS) – Both Walsh women's and women's cross country programs remain in the top 25 in the USTFCCCA National Coaches' Poll after a bye-week from competition. The women's team dropped two spots to No. 19 while the men's team remained at No. 25.

The women dropped two spots to No. 19 after debuting in the NCAA Division II top 25 at No. 17 last week. The Cavaliers received 60 points in the voting process and are currently No. 5 in the Midwest region.

The men's team received 10 points in the voting process and are also No. 5 in the Midwest region.

Both teams had outstanding efforts in the National Catholic Meet two weeks ago hosted by the University of Notre Dame.

The Cavaliers will return to action in another big meet this Friday at Cedarville. The Yellow Jackets are hosting the annual All-Ohio Championships once again. It will pose another good matchup for the women's team as Cedarville is currently ranked No. 10 in the national poll.
