Carter was named a Division II Conference Commissioners Association All-Midwest Region Second Team and All-GLIAC First Team selection after an incredible season that saw him average 24.6 points per game. That total stood at No. 3 in Division II at the end of the regular season and No. 11 in the nation regardless of division.
Carter's average was also the highest by a player in a single season for Walsh in over 50 years. The last Cavalier to do what he did was Nick Pallotta during the 1965-66 campaign. The Ironton native also led the GLIAC with 137-of-154 free throws, and was second in the conference with an 89 percent free throw percentage.
His 639 points ranks No. 8 in Walsh history for points scored in a single season. Carter finished his career 10th on the Walsh all-time points list with 1,539.
