Erin Ebert was named Walsh's 2012-13 Female Athlete of the Year.
Ebert pitched two no-hitters for Walsh and finished her senior year 8-8 with a 2.60 ERA. Erin pitched the first Opening Day no-hitter in Walsh history, when she turned the trick against Holy Family on March 3. She then pitched a five inning no-hitter, with 8 strikeouts, against Notre Dame College on April 17. Erin led the team in wins (8), and tied for the team lead with 11 complete games and two shutouts. She held the opposition to two runs or less in nine starts and fanned eight or more batters in a single game eight times. She finished the season with 99 strikeouts and was second in the GLIAC in strikeouts per game with 7.4. She finishes her Walsh career fifth in career wins (42), fourth in games started (73), fourth in complete games (54), fourth in total appearances (87), fifth in innings pitched (461.2), second in strikeouts (443) and tied for first with four career no-hitters. A Nursing major, Ebert carries a 3.084 grade point average.
