High-scoring Craig Luther lettered four times for the Cavs from 1976 to 1980. Luther led the Cavs in scoring all four years. He averaged 11.0 ppg as a freshman, 14.7 ppg as a sophomore, 18.8 ppg as a junior and 18.1 ppg his senior year. He was named honorable mention All-Mid-Ohio Conference and All-District 22 in 1977-78, first-team in 1978-79 and 1979-80. Luther left Walsh as the all-time scoring leader with 1,630 points. He hit a school record 20 consecutive free throws and finished with 882 rebounds, 649 field goals and 332 free throws.
