Beth Hill was the first female athlete to earn four letters in the same sport (volleyball). Hill, who also played basketball and slow-pitch softball, was a true pioneer of Walsh Women's Athletics. She co-captained the volleyball team in 1981 and 1982 and was named Most Valuable Player in 1980. The Cavs won a then, school-record 33 games in Hill's senior year. Also a pillar in the Walsh community, Beth was recipient of the Walshman of the Year Award as a senior, symbolic of the institutions outstanding student.
