Greg Geig lettered four times for the men's basketball team from 1989-93. Geig was a member of Walsh's sweet 16 NAIA National Tournament team in 1992-93 that finished 29-5 and won Walsh's first ever national tournament game. That same year, Walsh also defeated NCAA Division I Saint Bonaventure University 75-68. Geig averaged double figures scoring in each of his last three years and graduated as Walsh's all-time leader in field goal percentage (.665) and in blocked shots (194). He holds four of the top seven spots in single season field goal percentage and his .665 mark from 1992-93 is first all-time. He scored 1,194 points (17th) and grabbed 825 rebounds (7th). Geig averaged 11.5 points and 7.3 rebounds as a sophomore, 11.8 points and 6.8 rebounds as a junior and 11.2 points and 8.7 rebounds as a senior. He was selected honorable mention All-District 22 as a sophomore and as a senior.
