Nate Falvo ('98) is the first Cavalier football player to join the Wall of Fame. Falvo, a transfer from the University of Dayton, was a member of the Cavs' first team in 1995 and played three years as a defensive back. Falvo earned first team Mid-States Football Association honors in 1996 and 1997 and was a Hansen Gazette honorable mention All-American in 1996. Falvo had 76 tackles and three interceptions in Walsh's first season in 1995. He then followed his first season at Walsh with back-to-back outstanding campaigns. In 1996, Nate led the team in tackles with 89 and in '97 recorded 80 tackles to go along with three interceptions. Falvo is currently eighth in career tackles (245) and in interceptions (7). Walsh compiled a 20-11 mark in Falvo's three years, the first three for Cavalier Football.
