(COLUMBUS, Ohio) – Overtime has been no stranger to Walsh this season, but it was unkind today as the Cavaliers dropped to Ohio Dominican 70-68 in extra time. The Cavs (9-9, 5-6) were up two with 26 seconds to play, but the Panthers (13-6, 8-4) rallied with four points in the final four seconds to steal the win with a buzzer-beating layup.

Dominique Foley had another superb day and once again set a new career-high with 22 points. She shot 8-of-16 from the field with a pair of 3-pointers. She also added four of Walsh's season-best 15 steals with two rebounds and an assists.

Brittni Clopton and Alex Hochstedler joined Foley in double figures with 11 and 10 points, respectively. Clopton was 5-of-10 from the field with six rebounds and a pair of steals. Hochstedler was a pair of rebounds shy of a double-double.

Walsh led by as many as 12 after Allison Butler made a layup with 9:07 left, but ODU closed the game on a 12-0 run to force the overtime period. The Cavs never trailed in overtime until the buzzer sounded before Alexis Overly's game-winning layup fell through the hoop.

The Maroon and Gold remains in third place in the division with a half-game lead above Hillsdale.

The Cavaliers will be back in action this Thursday as they host No. 1 Ashland for Sonic White Out Night. Tip-off with the unbeaten Eagles is set for 5:30 p.m.
