(PHILIPPI, W.Va.) – Walsh fell in the final game of a four-game road stretch at the hands of Alderson Broaddus by a score of 3-0 in G-MAC action on Saturday evening. The Cavaliers fell to 2-3-1 overall on the year and 1-2 in the conference. The Battlers improved to 3-2-2 overall and 2-0-2 in the conference.
AB scored its first goal just four minutes in, but Walsh held them to that score through the rest of the half. The Cavalier offense struggled to get any momentum going in the first as it was held without a shot.
The Cavs took six shots in the second with three on goal, but all three were saved while the Battlers added goals in the 58th and 63rd minutes.
Walsh returns for a three-game home stand that starts on Tuesday evening. The Cavs will host the storm that night with a 7:30 kickoff.
