Men's Golf Finishes Flyer Intercollegiate at Cog Hill

(LEMONT, Illinois) - The Men's golf team finishes the 54 hole Flyer Intercollegiate at Cog Hill Golf Club with a 3 day total 959. The Maroon and Gold fell 4 spots to finish 16th at the conclusion of the event.

Leading the way for the Cavaliers was senior Drew Savage with a 54 hole total 232 (77-79-76) to give him a T35 finsih individually. Brandon Netzel carded a 3 day 239 (77-83-79) while Mark Mokros turned in a 244 (80-82-82). Noah Frase tallied a 54 hole 247 (79-85-83) for the Cavs while Jake Barth rounded out the top 5 with a 258 (89-82-87).

Texas Wesleyan finished round 3 with their best round of the week to secure the first place spot shooting 293 for a 54 hole total 886. Minot State placed second with 893.

The Men's Golf team tees it up again in St. Louis at the Midwest Regional Division II Event October 8-9.
