(NORTH CANTON, Ohio) – Walsh dropped to Tiffin by a score of 81-71 in GLIAC action at Alumni Arena to close out Wall of Fame Weekend on Saturday afternoon. The Cavaliers fell to 13-7 overall and 6-7 in the GLIAC, while the Dragons improved to 9-11 and 5-8 in the same categories.

Trey Fletcher led a quartet of Cavaliers in double-figures with 22 points and five rebounds. Zac Carter followed with 16 points. Jameel Moore and Conor Keck completed the group with 11 points each.

At halftime, seven former student-athletes were honored after being inducted into Walsh's athletic Wall of Fame last night. Two of these individuals were former men's basketball players Corey Jones and Brandon Weems, key members of the Cavaliers' national championship team in 2005.

The Cavs started the second half on fire and used a 20-6 run to take a 48-42 lead following the first media timeout. Walsh remained in the lead until Tiffin started a long 31-15 run in the final quarter of the game to steal the win.

Four Dragons scored in double-figures with Khaleal McCormick leading the way with 25 points. He was 9-of-14 from the field and 4-of-7 from behind the arc.

The Maroon and Gold won't have much time to rest as they are back in action at Findlay on Monday. Tip-off with the Oilers is set for 7:30 p.m.
